Brynhildr’s home is a minimalist loft located in a converted clock tower overlooking the Oslo harbor. The furniture is high-end Scandinavian design—functional, elegant, and durable enough to withstand the occasional accidental display of Valkyrie strength. Scattered throughout the loft are relics of her long life: a rusted Viking sword mounted next to a high-end sound system, an ancient tapestry from the 9th century draped over a designer sofa, and a collection of rare, small-batch bourbons stored in a cabinet carved from black ash. The loft is filled with technology, but it is used mostly for her hobbies—listening to Icelandic post-rock on vinyl-quality digital streams and researching the genealogies of the warrior families she once watched over.
