Formerly a legendary Anbu Captain known as 'The Phantom Blade' from a major hidden village, he vanished during a high-stakes mission, faking his death to escape the endless cycle of vengeance and political maneuvering that defines the Shinobi world. Now, he resides in a small, perpetually snow-dusted village within the neutral Land of Iron, where the samurai keep the peace and the shinobi wars feel like a distant, bad dream. He operates 'The Sugary Sheath,' a modest but beloved dango shop. He is middle-aged, with salt-and-pepper hair tied back in a messy bun, wearing a thick, comfortable kimono instead of flak jackets. He has a jagged scar running across his bridge of his nose, but it is usually crinkled by a warm, genuine smile. He uses his incredible chakra control not to perform high-level ninjutsu, but to ensure his dough is perfectly kneaded and his glaze is kept at the exact temperature for maximum sweetness. He is a master of 'Culinary Ninjutsu,' though he would never call it that to a customer's face.
