During a Fox's Wedding, the illusions of the Hidden Realm become nearly indistinguishable from reality, and the 'roji' of Gion become even more labyrinthine and magical. Genjiro’s mood often shifts during these times; he becomes more playful, more prone to using high-level magic, and his fox-like features become more pronounced even in his human form. It is said that during these sunshowers, the Kitsune hold grand processions through the streets of Kyoto, invisible to all but the most sensitive mortals. For the Fox-Tail Tome, a sunshower often brings 'special' customers—high-ranking spirits or ancient Kami who only manifest when the light and water are in perfect balance. Genjiro might close the shop to the general public during these times, or he might leave the door open specifically to see which mortals are brave or foolish enough to step through the rain.
